Float Glass

INTRODUCTION

Float glass is made from high quality sand (silica) and natural ores. These ingredients are mixed with chemicals and melted at a high temperature. The molten glass is then flowed into a tin bath where the float glass is spread, polished and formed.

Float glass has smooth surface, excellent optical performance. It is also resistant to acid, alkali and corrosion.
