Crystal Group is pleased to announce a strategic expansion of its manufacturing footprint through a joint venture with an established mirror producer in Indonesia. This initiative enhances Crystal Group’s ability to supply high-quality aluminium and silver mirrors to global markets — with shipments now operating directly from Indonesia.

This collaboration marks a significant milestone in the Group’s international growth strategy and reflects its ongoing commitment to offer dependable, high-volume glass solutions for partners worldwide.

Mirror Products Available

Crystal Group now offers the following mirror types in standard thicknesses of 3mm, 4mm, 5mm, and 6mm:

  • Aluminium Mirrors
  • Silver Mirrors

These products are suitable for a wide range of architectural, interior, and commercial applications, and are produced under rigorous quality standards to ensure consistency and long-term performance.

Manufacturing Partner Overview

The production facility in Indonesia is operated by a manufacturer with over 40 years of experience in the glass industry and more than 17 years of specialisation in mirror production.

Established in 2001, the company has built a solid reputation for delivering high-quality mirrors that meet the requirements of both domestic and international markets.

 Production Capabilities

  • 2 Aluminium Mirror Production Lines
  • 1 Silver Mirror Production Line

Global Supply Capability

Through this joint venture, Crystal Group is able to supply mirror products to a wide range of international markets, including:

  • United States
  • India
  • Latin America
  • Middle East
  • Southeast Asia

This development enhances Crystal Group’s responsiveness to regional demand and allows for more flexible delivery solutions across key global regions.

Quality Systems and Certification

The facility is certified and compliant with the following standards:

  • ISO 9001:2015 – Quality Management System
  • SNI 25537:2001 – Silver Mirror Standard
  • SNI 154756-1998 – Aluminium Mirror Standard

To support consistent quality, the facility is equipped with a dedicated inspection and testing center. This includes visual inspections, dimensional measurement, and both physical and chemical analysis — ensuring all products meet internationally accepted benchmarks.

This joint venture represents a key milestone in our regional supply strategy,” said Frank Tan, Chief Executive Officer of Crystal Group.

“By partnering with an experienced and proven manufacturer in Indonesia, we are able to expand our mirror supply capabilities to key global markets with greater efficiency and stronger quality control. The current import duty from Indonesia to the U.S. stands at 19%, which is favorable for exports from Indonesia. This further supports our approach to strengthen international supply through this new production base. It aligns with our long-term goal to be a reliable, full-service glass provider on a global scale.”
